Make the most of your passion for the mountains, skiing, and snowboarding with this 6-month TRAINING + EMPLOYMENT program at ski resorts in the Alps, the Pyrenees, and the Massif Central!
More than 150 mountain resorts are hiring, and over 200 ski technician positions are available for the 2026–2027 season.
The "Ski Technical Advisor" training program takes place in the Pyrenees or the Alps. It consists of an 8-week theoretical and practical training session at the start of the professional training contract, followed by a 4-month internship at sports stores in mountain resorts. The program equips you with the theoretical and technical fundamentals of winter sports equipment , enabling you to become an expert in the maintenance, repair, rental, consultation, and sale of ski and snowboard equipment and accessories.

Skills Module No. 1 - Sales and Sales Promotion
Competency 1
Manage customer relationships by providing personalized service and a tailored approach to customers in an environment dedicated to the sale of winter sports equipment, in order to understand their expectations and omnichannel journey, and identify their athletic profile so as to provide sales support tailored to their specific sport.
Competency 2
Assist customers with their purchase and/or rental, tailoring our approach to their athletic profile, to ensure they purchase sports equipment that is suited to their body type and sport.
Skills Module No. 2 - Performing preparation and maintenance tasks for winter snow sports equipment
Competency 3
Help organize the winter sports equipment maintenance workshop and its technical areas to ensure they are ready for assembly, maintenance, and repair work, in compliance with current health, safety, and environmental standards.
Competency 4
Assemble and adjust all types of winter sports equipment using pre-prepared and pre-assembled components, in accordance with the manufacturers’ technical documentation, in order to make them available for sale or rent.
Competency 5
Perform maintenance and repair work on all types of snow sports equipment by replacing or repairing its components to restore it to proper working order, in accordance with the manufacturers’ technical recommendations and applicable safety standards.
Competency 6
Return customers’ serviced or repaired equipment to them, explaining the invoice so they understand the work performed, and advising them on how to use and maintain their equipment based on the intensity of use, their training routines, and their athletic goals
