A vocational program at school and in the workplace
This 9-week certificate program, available through a 6- to 12-month apprenticeship contract, enables students to prepare for a career and gain expertise in bicycle mechanics and sales techniques.
Goal: To become an expert in bicycle repair, assembly, and maintenance, as well as in the sale of cycling equipment, apparel, and accessories.
At school: Theprogram consists of 350 hours of classroom instruction and hands-on training in a motorcycle mechanics workshop, led by expert instructors with industry experience who are passionate about sharing their knowledge.
In the workplace:On the shop floor at Decathlon, the goal is to join a team, immerse yourself in the professional world while being mentored by a training supervisor, and apply and build upon the technical and sales skills you learned in school.
Applicants must have completed their senior year of high school or hold at least a CAP or BEP to apply.
