Course Overview

The "Introductory Bicycle Technician" training course lasts 5 days and teaches you the theoretical and technical fundamentals of bicycles. The theoretical portion introduces you to bicycle components, the sizing specifications of drivetrains and frame geometry, specialized terminology, and the sales process in bicycle departments or specialty bike shops. In the workshop, you’ll practice basic repair and maintenance procedures for road bikes and mountain bikes.

This program enables participants to quickly become proficient in both basic bicycle mechanics and sales and customer service in an industry where consumers are increasingly knowledgeable about technical aspects and the latest market trends.

All of our training programs are accessible and designed to accommodate participants with disabilities.

Discussing disability as early as the recruitment phase is often a key step toward a successful training program.

Being aware of a learner’s disability means being able to design a training program that takes into account their needs and the resources required to support their learning journey. Therefore, it is advisable to consider a learner’s disability as early as the registration phase.
