On September 16, our Pau campus welcomed its new students for a start to the academic year full of energy and enthusiasm.

The day got off to a smooth start with a friendly breakfast—the perfect opportunity to get to know their future classmates. After picking up their goodie bags and listening to an inspiring welcome address from our director, Loïc Harriet, our students learned about everything this year has in store for them: events, clubs, projects... all presented by our communications department, along with a dynamic preview of orientation week.

Teamwork and Challenges at Stade des Eaux Vives 🌊

Despite the chilly temperatures early in the morning, nothing could dampen our students’ spirits as they were ready to take on the challenges of the Stade des Eaux Vives! At 8:30 a.m., the first rafting runs began, with each team aiming for the best time. But the adventure didn’t stop there: activities like giant foosball, human jousting, giant target practice, and the Nerf shooting range also livened up the day on our inflatable structures.

After all their hard work, the participants were able to enjoy our partner village, where many prizes—including tickets to rugby and basketball games—were waiting for them. A big thank you to our students and partners for this memorable day! 🙌

Ivan Bédé and our teachers: success guaranteed! 🤩

The students had the opportunity to attend a special talk led by Ivan Bédé, a renowned content creator, and moderated by David Wieczorek. Together, they explored the mysteries of subtle communication on social media. The talk was followed by a casual get-together where everyone had the chance to capture the moment with a selfie alongside Ivan! 📸

Meanwhile, our faculty members put on their own show, the Faculty Show, led by Dr. Frédéric Dosquet. Students had to guess which professors were behind certain amusing anecdotes—a unique and fun way to get to know the people who would be guiding them throughout the year.

On the plaza, let creativity take center stage! Guided by artist Raphael, our students worked together to create a collaborative mural inspired by imagination and artistic expression.

A new school year focused on the human element 🤝

The human factor was also a central focus of this back-to-work period, with a collaborative workshop led by Anne Boyries that brought together members of the Éklore-Ed Group’s Executive Committee. This exploration of the human factor allowed our leaders to examine the behaviors and cognitive biases that influence collaboration and engagement, with the goal of jointly developing concrete initiatives to drive the Group’s growth.

This highlight strengthened the bonds between the leadership teams and marked an ideal start to the new year.
