Designed as a special opportunity for networking and recruitment, this event aims to facilitate connections between talent trained at éklore and local businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), micro-enterprises, and the startup ecosystem in Pau.

A great opportunity to recruit your future work-study students

In a climate where work-study programs are emerging as a strategic tool for training and recruiting talent, this Job Dating event allows companies to meet, in just a few hours, several motivated candidates who are already pursuing a career-oriented path.

The students in attendance will be from our programs:

  • Bachelor's Degree (3 years)

  • Master's Degree (Year 1)

  • Specialized Bachelor's and Master's Programs

All of them have been accepted or are already enrolled at éklore and are actively looking for a host company for their work-study program.

For businesses, this is a real opportunity to:

  • introduce their business and their roles

  • promote their employer brand to young talent

  • offer apprenticeship opportunities

  • conduct interviews on-site

A simple and effective format

The event will take place at the Hub éklore, a space designed to foster interaction and networking.

Practical information:

📅 Date: April 29,
🕐 Time: 1:30 PM – 5:00 PM
📍 Location: Hub éklore – Pau Campus

Each company will have its own booth where it can meet with students. The layout, featuring discussion areas, will create a welcoming environment that encourages interaction.

Faculty members and work-study program coordinators will also be on hand throughout the afternoon to answer questions about:

  • work-study schedules

  • support services

  • administrative and academic procedures

There will also be a presentation of the JobTeaser platform, which our students use to view job postings and apply for positions.

Meetings that lead to hires

At the previous event, several partner companies participated, including:

  • Octime

  • Euralis

  • Electro Depot

  • Lidl

  • Weezbee

  • Auchan

  • E.Leclerc

  • CEAPC – Savings Bank

  • Eden Auto

  • as well as various local real estate agencies

Several representatives from these companies had traveled to the event to meet with the students in person and identify potential work-study candidates.

Once again this year, we aim to strengthen our ties with the local business community and welcome new partner companies.

A fun gathering to wrap up the event

Following the Job Dating event, a thank-you reception will be held for participating companies.

This informal gathering will provide an opportunity to continue discussions with the éklore teams, meet other local business leaders, and expand your professional network.
